Spray dahlias are not disbudded but flower with multiple buds on each primary stem. The two "wing" stems (immediately below the main bud) are often longer than the primary flower head. Each bloom should have the same colour charateristics as the main head but will always be smaller than Premium (dis-budded) dahlias.
